False Perception can be based on limited data:
Last June: Picture taken in White Marsh, Federalsburg, or Montgomery County.
If someone was visiting for a week and took pictures, they would say that this place always floods!
2002 was the driest on record through August
2003 was wettest year on record breaking 114 yr old record. So what about 1889?
2006- Driest March on Record
But in 1910-
2nd driest March followed by 2nd wettest April. Both #1 at the time.
Analagy- Last 10 of 30 years of Hurricanes- ignores mid 30s-mid 50s
Small data set can miss larger cycle. Yes 2005 was warmest and 2006 1st 6 months are warmest,
